In mid June, DHM Research conducted a phone survey at the behest of the City of Bend and Bend 2030 to follow up to the findings from an April Bend 2030 Transportation Forum. The idea was to validate how much of Bend’s populace are as in favor of healthy transportation and public transit options as the 175 forum attendees were. The statistically valid survey will help round out the data collected during the forum, and will be used by the Bend 2030 when they make their full set of recommendations to City Council later this summer.

To give folks yet another means to voice their support for active transportation infrastructure funding, there is a quick online survey, which will be available through July 12.

If you’re at all interested in telling policy makers how much you support Bend spending on walkable and bike-able infrastructure, where you stand on various funding options to pay for it, or about neighborhood livability, now is your chance.
